Virgin of Cotta of Ozamiz

I remember how often I visit Virgin of Cotta during my college days. It just few minutes away from our school campus. The Virgin of Cotta is known as a miraculous image built in 1755 by Father Jose Ducos. A lot of people who come here offer prayers and light candles as the tradition of the Catholic church and believers.

"Nuestra Senyora de Triunfo" or "Our Lady of Triumph" is the real title of the image that has been famous of its name "Birhen sa Kota."

Upon you enter the gate you can see vendors selling candles and souvenirs such as bracelets for kids, pins, rosaries and more.
