Japan Sony Corporation News Update

Sony is a worldwide electronics company. And because of its sudden and rapid changes in the global economy they’re going to cut 8,000 jobs and close some of their plants. This is really a bad news.

Sony is distinguished as a leader of corporate Japan and according to the company it would lay off about 5% of the 160,000 workers in global electronics business. Reduction of seasonal and temporary workers is also included.

The company is really in tough times this time after enjoying those years with big profits from their flat televisions, digital cameras and mobile telephones.

In addition, the planned of having an expansion in Slovakia is postponed at the moment. So, this is how the economy affects the company and the workers. Hopefully soon the economy can recover from this hideous moment.
